Wow, it's been over 2 months! Sorry about that. LIfe is really 'um....full right now. The last 2 months have been pretty much taken up by Juliet's wedding plans. Once the shower was over, it was full steam on the wedding itself. It's been 11 days and I'm still not quite feeling back to normal. Almost but not quite. Once I get some of the pics I'll post a couple for ya. I surprised myself by actually sewing my own dress and both flowergirl petticoats. Didn't know I was capable. I guess there will be more sewing in my future as quickly as I'm shrinking out of my clothes!!! YEAH!!! The last 3 weeks have sidetracked me from my weightloss program but I've only gained .4 lbs. so I don't blame myself too much. I was thrilled to receive soooo many compliments at the wedding, it really made a girl feel good! I have lost a total of 29.6 lbs. so far and am almost halfway to my goalweight. The best part of that is I don't feel fat anymore, I feel normal. I haven't felt that way since, well....since gradeschool. By the time I do hit my goal, which should be in the early spring, I will feel and look like a person I've never met before. STRANGE just thinkin about it!

Matt, I was glad you and Jenna were able to come! Thanks for the compliments on the kids, I agree with you but then I'm biased. hehe. Tell Jenna she's not the only one who wants to steal Trinity. She gets that reaction just about whereever we take her. Makes a mom nervous and very prayerful. Did you realize who the guestbook person at the wediding was? She was wondering if you'd recognize her from her xanga.

Anyways, I'm making it a goal to post once a week on here. It would really help to have lots of comments!!! hint! hint!

Ya'll have a blessed day and thank God you're alive!

Well hullo all my wonderful readers! (basically sisters and airforce personel)
I've now recovered from my first TT workout and have finished the 2nd.  I have to say, I'm liking the way this guy thinks.  I spend less time in the gym but feel like I've gotten a much more thorough workout.  Went grocery shopping today and stocked up on all those natural, unprocessed, healthy foods we Americans don't recognize most of the time.  Felt pretty good knowing I wasn't spending money on junk that was just gonna make me miserable in the end.

Only one more day to enjoy my 20's.  It had better be a great saturday is all I've got to say about that!

Mentally I am divided.  Part of me is dancing around in my head singing, "It's my birthday, it's my birthday!".  Another part of me is very diligently planning menus based on grams of fat, fiber and protein, and can't wait to jump on the scale again.  While still yet another part of me is becoming increasing consumed with bridal shower and wedding decorating details.
My sis-in-law's wedding is Labor Day, only like 60-some-odd days away.  My mil let me know the other day how much she wants my help with the whole thing and that they want me to be the co-hostess for it.  It's not the role I had hoped to play but hey I'm needed!!
I've also offered to throw Juliet's family bridal shower for her.  There are few things I enjoy more than getting to plan and execute a big party!!  And this will be the one gift I can give her that will be unique and extremely memorable.  I love to entertain, and fortunately for me I get to use my mom's beautiful home for the location.  I will find a way, I promise! to post pictures when that time comes.  It will be classy.

Well yesterday was my first day on Turbulence Training.  I started with the beginner intervals, warm-up and workout A.  Those squats are really HARD!  It took much less time getting in and out of the gym.  My legs felt like jello last night, could hardly move them at all without support but it's alot better this morning.  I can tell I need to up the weight I'm using for the DB rows. I need to make sure I'm using the proper form & technique for all the exercises.  I should probably make another appointment with Ray but I'm hesitant.  I'm no longer following the program he set up for me, will he be offended?  I'll have to pray about that one for a few days before I decide what to do.  We do not have Weight Watchers this next tuesday with it being the 4th of July and all.  So I have 2 weeks before my next weigh-in.  My goal is to lose 5 lbs. by 7/11/06.  That will mean finishing workout A (x3), workout B (x3), core workout (x6), and beginner intervals (x12).
I will also be working on taking my nutrition to the next level.  I already eat very healthy 75% of the time, now to raise that to 85% of the time.
I think I need to pick up some heavier dumbells to have here at home.  If I end up running for my intervals, it would be easier to do the rest here than the gym.  Of course a really complete home gym would be ideal, it will come in time.
Oh I forgot, my weigh-in yesterday!  Officially I'm at 193.2, down 18 pounds total.  Approximately only 53.2 more to go.  Goal weight is still looking like Valentine's Day 2007.

Well we got back from our trip Sunday about 3pm.  Things did not really go as we planned but we ended up having a good time anyway.  Broken Bow lake IS the most beautiful place I've ever seen in my life.  The mountains are covered in pine trees and some oak trees and are breathtaking!  The lake is absolutely crystal clear and very, very deep and cold. The state park covers 14,000 square miles of mountains, lake, multiple creeks and the Mountain Fork River.  It is truly a outdoor lover's paradise, HERE IN OKLAHOMA!!!  We ended up camping right next to the water's edge with our own private cove.  The weather was great except for the rain all day friday.  The fishing wasn't so great for the guys.  I was the only one to catch any, I got 2 rainbow trout and a pumpkin seed sunfish. I really enjoyed getting out into the COLD river and fishing upstream in the rapids.  There is a good chance we will end up going back next year but renting a houseboat and camping on the water.

Now I'm trying to catch up on all the laundry, pick up the house a bit and return to the daily routine.  I've got weigh-in today so I'm excited to see where I'm at compared to my goal for the week.  I bought an E-book yesterday that I've been researching for the last month.  Turbulence Training for Fat Loss.  Can't wait to get started on the new rountine!

My birthday is next Sunday and I will be the big 30.  No longer able to pretend at times I'm still a kid.  30 is really offiicially adult.  Kinda scary.  Anyway my sissy Bethany gave me my present early, last night.  She let me pick out my haircolor and highlights, then she cut, colored, and highlighted my hair. The highlights are a little strange for me, not used to them since I've never really had any before.  But I love my new cut and color, it's perfect for me and very summery.  All right that's all for now.  See ya later!
