Well we got back from our trip Sunday about 3pm. Things did not
really go as we planned but we ended up having a good time
anyway. Broken Bow lake IS the most beautiful place I've ever
seen in my life. The mountains are covered in pine trees and some
oak trees and are breathtaking! The lake is absolutely crystal
clear and very, very deep and cold. The state park covers 14,000 square
miles of mountains, lake, multiple creeks and the Mountain Fork
River. It is truly a outdoor lover's paradise, HERE IN
OKLAHOMA!!! We ended up camping right next to the water's edge
with our own private cove. The weather was great except for the
rain all day friday. The fishing wasn't so great for the
guys. I was the only one to catch any, I got 2 rainbow trout and
a pumpkin seed sunfish. I really enjoyed getting out into the COLD
river and fishing upstream in the rapids. There is a good chance
we will end up going back next year but renting a houseboat and camping
on the water.
Now I'm trying to catch up on all the laundry, pick up the house a bit
and return to the daily routine. I've got weigh-in today so I'm
excited to see where I'm at compared to my goal for the week. I
bought an E-book yesterday that I've been researching for the last
month. Turbulence Training for Fat Loss. Can't wait to get
started on the new rountine!
My birthday is next Sunday and I will be the big 30. No longer
able to pretend at times I'm still a kid. 30 is really
offiicially adult. Kinda scary. Anyway my sissy Bethany
gave me my present early, last night. She let me pick out my
haircolor and highlights, then she cut, colored, and highlighted my
hair. The highlights are a little strange for me, not used to them
since I've never really had any before. But I love my new cut and
color, it's perfect for me and very summery. All right that's all
for now. See ya later!
