Sorry about that. LIfe is really 'um....full right now. The last 2 months have been pretty much taken up by Juliet's wedding plans. Once the shower was over, it was full steam on the wedding itself. It's been 11 days and I'm still not quite feeling back to normal. Almost but not quite. Once I get some of the pics I'll post a couple for ya. I surprised myself by actually sewing my own dress and both flowergirl petticoats. Didn't know I was capable. I guess there will be more sewing in my future as quickly as I'm shrinking out of my clothes!!! YEAH!!! The last 3 weeks have sidetracked me from my weightloss program but I've only gained .4 lbs. so I don't blame myself too much. I was thrilled to receive soooo many compliments at the wedding, it really made a girl feel good! I have lost a total of 29.6 lbs. so far and am almost halfway to my goalweight. The best part of that is I don't feel fat anymore, I feel normal. I haven't felt that way since, well....since gradeschool. By the time I do hit my goal, which should be in the early spring, I will feel and look like a person I've never met before. STRANGE just thinkin about it!

Matt, I was glad you and Jenna were able to come! Thanks for the compliments on the kids, I agree with you but then I'm biased. hehe. Tell Jenna she's not the only one who wants to steal Trinity. She gets that reaction just about whereever we take her. Makes a mom nervous and very prayerful. Did you realize who the guestbook person at the wediding was? She was wondering if you'd recognize her from her xanga.

Anyways, I'm making it a goal to post once a week on here. It would really help to have lots of comments!!! hint! hint!

Ya'll have a blessed day and thank God you're alive!

Rebecca

Saturday, July 01, 2006

Well hullo all my wonderful readers! (basically sisters and airforce personel)
I've now recovered from my first TT workout and have finished the
2nd. I have to say, I'm liking the way this guy thinks. I
spend less time in the gym but feel like I've gotten a much more
thorough workout. Went grocery shopping today and stocked up on
all those natural, unprocessed, healthy foods we Americans don't
recognize most of the time. Felt pretty good knowing I wasn't
spending money on junk that was just gonna make me miserable in the end.

Only one more day to enjoy my 20's. It had better be a great saturday is all I've got to say about that!

Mentally I am divided. Part of me is dancing around in my head
singing, "It's my birthday, it's my birthday!". Another part of
me is very diligently planning menus based on grams of fat, fiber and
protein, and can't wait to jump on the scale again. While still
yet another part of me is becoming increasing consumed with bridal
shower and wedding decorating details.
My sis-in-law's wedding is Labor Day, only like 60-some-odd days
away. My mil let me know the other day how much she wants my help
with the whole thing and that they want me to be the co-hostess for
it. It's not the role I had hoped to play but hey I'm needed!!
I've also offered to throw Juliet's family bridal shower for her.
There are few things I enjoy more than getting to plan and execute a
big party!! And this will be the one gift I can give her that
will be unique and extremely memorable. I love to entertain, and
fortunately for me I get to use my mom's beautiful home for the
location. I will find a way, I promise! to post pictures when
that time comes. It will be classy.

Well yesterday was my first day on Turbulence Training. I started
with the beginner intervals, warm-up and workout A. Those squats
are really HARD! It took much less time getting in and out of the
gym. My legs felt like jello last night, could hardly move them
at all without support but it's alot better this morning. I can
tell I need to up the weight I'm using for the DB rows. I need to make
sure I'm using the proper form & technique for all the
exercises. I should probably make another appointment with Ray
but I'm hesitant. I'm no longer following the program he set up
for me, will he be offended? I'll have to pray about that one for
a few days before I decide what to do. We do not have Weight
Watchers this next tuesday with it being the 4th of July and all.
So I have 2 weeks before my next weigh-in. My goal is to lose 5
lbs. by 7/11/06. That will mean finishing workout A (x3), workout
B (x3), core workout (x6), and beginner intervals (x12).
I will also be working on taking my nutrition to the next level.
I already eat very healthy 75% of the time, now to raise that to 85% of
the time.
I think I need to pick up some heavier dumbells to have here at
home. If I end up running for my intervals, it would be easier to
do the rest here than the gym. Of course a really complete home
gym would be ideal, it will come in time.
Oh I forgot, my weigh-in yesterday! Officially I'm at 193.2, down
18 pounds total. Approximately only 53.2 more to go. Goal
weight is still looking like Valentine's Day 2007.

Well we got back from our trip Sunday about 3pm. Things did not
really go as we planned but we ended up having a good time
anyway. Broken Bow lake IS the most beautiful place I've ever
seen in my life. The mountains are covered in pine trees and some
oak trees and are breathtaking! The lake is absolutely crystal
clear and very, very deep and cold. The state park covers 14,000 square
miles of mountains, lake, multiple creeks and the Mountain Fork
River. It is truly a outdoor lover's paradise, HERE IN
OKLAHOMA!!! We ended up camping right next to the water's edge
with our own private cove. The weather was great except for the
rain all day friday. The fishing wasn't so great for the
guys. I was the only one to catch any, I got 2 rainbow trout and
a pumpkin seed sunfish. I really enjoyed getting out into the COLD
river and fishing upstream in the rapids. There is a good chance
we will end up going back next year but renting a houseboat and camping
on the water.

Now I'm trying to catch up on all the laundry, pick up the house a bit
and return to the daily routine. I've got weigh-in today so I'm
excited to see where I'm at compared to my goal for the week. I
bought an E-book yesterday that I've been researching for the last
month. Turbulence Training for Fat Loss. Can't wait to get
started on the new rountine!

My birthday is next Sunday and I will be the big 30. No longer
able to pretend at times I'm still a kid. 30 is really
offiicially adult. Kinda scary. Anyway my sissy Bethany
gave me my present early, last night. She let me pick out my
haircolor and highlights, then she cut, colored, and highlighted my
hair. The highlights are a little strange for me, not used to them
since I've never really had any before. But I love my new cut and
color, it's perfect for me and very summery. All right that's all
for now. See ya later!

Wow, it's been a long time since I've posted here. I've gotten
really tired of trying to maintain several blogs. I'm trying to
decide between making this one my only one or switching to
WordPress. But either way, I'm downsizing to only one.
Since my last post I've gone from 9.8 pounds lost to 17.6 pounds
lost. I've dropped a pant size and actually had to buy some new
undies as well. I'm working out 4 nights a week, lifting weights
and cardio interval training. Weight Watchers is really working
for me and I'm confident I will reach my goal weight sometime around
Feb.'07. My knitting, spinning and crochet have kinda taken a
back seat for awhile. I mean have a few active projects but I'm
so focused on working out and serving at church on wednesdays that I'm
just not as interested right now. I'm sure when fall rolls around
that will change.

Tabitha loved her first summer camp at Dry Gulch. She didn't have any
problems being homesick since her aunt was there and she can't wait to
go back next summer. She plans on spending lots of time this
summer riding her bike when it's cool outside and mastering Nintendo
when it's too hot. Teddy is now a BIG 5 years old and had a
wonderful b-day party. He got a Hot Wheels bike and lots of Cars
stuff. For his other present Billy took Teddy, his sisters, and a
friend to see the movie. Trinity is getting soooooo grown
up! She's my baby but not a baby anymore. She'll be 4 in
Nov. Her speech and just her whole manner of communicating is
just speeding right along. She is 90% potty trained and
thankfully all that will be behind me after this summer!!! Thank
you Lord!!

Billy got a promotion and payraise a couple of months ago and he is now
K&B Machining's Production Manager and Supervisor. He is
really enjoying the challenge of the job, and the fact that it requires
more of him mentally. I'm happy to see him loving his job!!
I don't necessarily enjoy the long hours but I appreciate how hard he's
working to get us out of debt. We are pluggin along on that goal,
with another old debt being paid off every 2-3 months. God is
really blessing and we are beginning to reap what we have sown.

Billy and I are leaving tomorrow with my brother Chad and sis-in-law
Anna for our annual Anniversary Weekend. This year we are
celebrating 9 years and are going camping down at Broken Bow National
Park. We are taking Chad's boat and plan on canoeing, fishing,
and hiking from Thursday night to Sunday afternoon. I can hardly
wait!! Best sister in the world Bethany is staying here at the
house with the kids and plans on taking them to the zoo on
Saturday. So they will be having a blast as well. It will
be sooooo nice to spend that time with hubby.
Well, I guess I better get back to the dishes, laundry, and
packing! I will try to post on monday with highlights of our
trip. Have a great weekend!!
Wednesday, April 19, 2006

Wow, a new post two days in a row! Don't get used to it.
After weigh-in yesterday I have now lost a total of 9.8lbs.
Yippee!!! That means I'm just about half-way to my first
goal!
Homeschooling is going so much better lately. We changed the
routine a bit and school in the mornings rather than the
afternoons. She is flying thru her work and is musch less
frustrated. She should be finished with all her first grade work before
the end of next month. I'm extending her Bible and Language Arts
into June though. She's really getting excited about the idea of
2nd grade this fall! Teddy's work is good but sporatic.
Which is perfectly fine for a 4 yr old. He'll be getting into a
real routine this next fall with Kindegarten. I am NOT planning on
schooling Trin this fall. She won't turn 4 until November and is
just too easily distractable and hyper for my patience. Tabi is
also going to summer camp for the first time this year!! She is
sooooooooo excited! I think she just might want to stay forever
if the rest of the family came along with her!

I won't be posting again till next week since I will be gone starting
tomorrow morning for the annual DREAM conference at church. This
is my first time to attend and I'm really looking forward to all the
teaching. I've chosen the extra day(tomorrow) to attend a
day-long class on Worship in Children's Ministry. My master
teacher on wednesday nights send me home last week with a copy of the
DVD we use during praise and worship. I get to start leading
P&W when Dave is not there. I'm really excited about this!

Anyways, hope you have an awesome rest of the week and weekend. See ya monday.

Sorry it's been so long between posts. I'm still pluggin away
doing the weight watchers thing. I've lost 9 lbs as of last
Tuesday. Doesn't seem like much for all this time but, I'm also
losing inches all over and feeling sooooooo much better! I work
out at the Rec Center 6 days a week, logging about 18 miles and 3 hours
of weight training a week. So I'm being consistent and patient
and I KNOW it will come off and my friends will wake up one day and not
recognize me!! LOL

Just sitting here, sipping my Cranberry tea from Adagio and knowing
Billy will be home very soon. Looking around, the house is still
just as messy as it was when he left. Uh oh. I have a group
of ladies coming over for my Bible study knitting group saturday night
and I'm running out of time to pick up and clean my house. And
why? you ask: because of my computer, more specifically the
internet. I'm a internet junkie. There, I've confessed it,
what's next? Oh yeah, asking for help right?
HEEEEELLLLLLLLP!!! Please!!!!

Other news: need to get serious about losing this weight.
My sis, sisinlaw, and brother's girlfriend are convinced there is
actually a size 8ish hottie hiding in this currently size 18 bod.
Sooooo.... I will be doing my darndest and praying all the way to stick
to my Weight Watchers plan this time. Kinda a bummer that I went
and sold my treadmill to pay bills huh?
Oh well. After breaking my little toe on the big montrosity, there was
no love lost when it finally vacated the premises. And I can't
really just walk out the door and keep going; for 2 very important
reasons: 1) I don't have decent shoes to exercise in. 2)
well duh, my kids!! Somehow I don't think the energy exerted
trying to keep them bundled up and out of the way of traffic would burn
the requisit calories I need to lose. I know, I know. If it
weren't for the footwear issue, I could take off when Billy is here in
the mornings. WELL, yes I have yet another reason/excuse why that
won't work either!! He works THREE JOBS. I never really

irresistible to hubby, bikini clad, 3 time momma!! The Moment of
Torture & Truth will be held every saturday morning after I visit
the loo and before I provide myself with edible nourishment. Stay
